Episode 102 - Snuff (1976) - Video Nasties

This week we return to our Video Nasties feature by delving into the dark and dirty world of Snuff films. Specifically the controversial 1976 film Snuff.
A controversial film for its marketing campaign that sold the film as a real Snuff film building on the urban legends of the film we discuss in the episode. 
Although a critically mauled film filled with poor taste, the cast me to hell boys have delved into this distasteful world and found some truly shocking, hilarious and so bad its good moments.

Episode 101 - Cujo (1983) - Must See Horror

We return to our Must See Horror's list to decide if Cujo (1983) belongs to be in the Top 100 horror list we are following. We discuss our history with the film and with Stephen King adaptations.
We talk through the film we know for many is a beloved nostalgic tale that made them scared of dogs like Spielberg did with sharks, but do we both on first time viewing feel that love for the film or do we have a bad dog on our hands?

Episode 100 - Dawn of the Dead (1978)

This week we have made it to our 100th episode and so we are covering an absolute classic in George A Romero's Dawn Of The Dead (1978). We discuss the different cut's of the film including Dario Argento's influence on the film away from his own edited cut.

Episode 97 - Fright Night - Must See Horror

This week we return to our Must See Horror feature and decide the fate of Fright Night, will it be deserving of a place on the Top 100 Horrors of all time or does it deserve a stake through the heart?
We discuss the cult status of the film, the sexual man that is Jerry Dandridge and comparisons with a certain other cult 80's vampire teen horror. We also talk about how the film can be perceived by different viewers with Rob a long time fan of the film and Seb a first time viewer.

Episode 96 - Overrated Horrors - Horror Hot Takes

This week we return to the controversial Horror Hot Takes feature just to annoy you all. Last time we covered Horror Hot Takes we talked about our general Hot Take on things we like or dislike about horror. This time we look at the Overrated Horrors we think exist and are over hyped, get too much love or are just generally bad films. 
We each have come with 3 choices of horror films we personally feel are not as amazing as some will have you believe. These are our personal opinion and feel free to get in touch to tell us if you think we are wrong, that's your opinion. We explain our reasoning for why we believe some horrors gain attention for the wrong reasons, why sometimes the marketing is better than the product, why maybe great horror to some newer horror fans is not the same as great horror to life long fans.  
So feel free to come at us, get ready for some offensive, maybe even to lose some respect as we delve into Seb and Robbies Hot Takes on our most overrated horror films.

Episode 95 - Dario Argento’s Suspiria (1977) - Must See Horror

This week we return to our Must See Horror with an absolute Italian horror classic. Seb and Robbie have their first ever viewing of the film discussing the italian horror and Giallo through an auteur like Dario Argento. 
We talk about Dario Argento's work, his approaches to filmmaking and his thoughts on the remake that came out in 2018. We look at the film through the lens of Must See Horror, deciding if all parts of the film or just some key area are strong enough or influential enough that we believe everyone must of must not see this film. 
So get on your dancing shoes, bring the colour, bring the coven and prepare your mind for the mad and mystical world of Argento's Suspiria.
