Monday Feb 27, 2023
The boys are back in town as both Rob and Seb are reunited and it feels so good!
This week we return to our video nasties feature seeking out the worst of the worst of banned British horror, the films too gory, too exploitative, too naughty for 1970s/80s Britain.
Our film focus this time is Tobe Hooper's Eaten Alive about a maniac motel owner and his special bond with his pet crocodile...but this is no twisted rom-com but a creature feature wrapped in a thriller with Hoppers classic twisted humour thrown in.
Come and join us as we take a bite out of this forgotten video nasty and tell the dark history that it was based on.

Monday Jan 23, 2023
This week at Cast Me To Hell, Robbie is looking at film that was originally a Video Nasty but was taken off the list, as he discusses 1981's Dead & Buried (also often called Dead and Buried).
This coastal based horror feels like a throwback to English folk horror of the lates 60s and 70s, meets a brutal 80s slasher.
Based on a story by the creators of Alien and featuring a pre-Nightmare on Elm Street Robert England, this film will take your breath away....all of it.

Swap your hockey masks and machetes for some pickaxes, graveyard ghouls and even some a visit to your local friendly grocery store, but don't worry, these films are still full of gory goodness and enough dismembered body parts to build your very own Frankenstein (or is it Frankenstein's monster?)
