Episode 76 -Halloween (1978) - Copycat Horror Movies
Monday Dec 05, 2022
Monday Dec 05, 2022
In this week's episode a new feature is introduced in Copycat horror and we do a first for the podcast as we're going at it solo with just Seb this week. In this only occasional occurrence Seb brings you his Copycat horror for 1978's Halloween.
Copycat horror's are horror films that spawned other horror movies that are basically copies of the originals ideas or are eerily familiar to all of us horror fans. Some of these horrors stand on their own or are enjoyable horrors in their own right but cant totally escape the original shadow. Seb will discuss several films that he believes are copycat's of John Carpenters Halloween, pointing out similar scenes, themes and concepts.
So join one half of Cast Me To Hell for one week only as he finds all of the copycats in the horror pantheons mitts and reveals them for the naughty movies that they are.
Find Cast Me To Hell on Twitter, Instagram and TikTok @cmthpodcast and tell us your thoughts on Halloween's many horror copycats.

Episode 70 - Ridiculous Horror Sequels
Monday Oct 24, 2022
Monday Oct 24, 2022
This week in a slightly delayed episode (you are not mishearing, we do say episode 66) we relish in the ridiculous as we look at Horrors most ridiculous sequels. The films that took an original concept then took it into strange and unusual places. Some sequels make sense, some try so hard to make one work that they go miles away from the originals ideas. Then we have those franchises that just keep pumping out sequel after sequel with each film grasping at more and more straws to keep that money train going.
So delve into the fun and ridiculous world of horror sequels, sharing in some unusual delights and some that just jump the shark for the franchise.

Episode 69 - Halloween Ends Review
Saturday Oct 15, 2022
Saturday Oct 15, 2022
This week we review the final installment in at least David Gordan Green's Halloween Trilogy and Jamie Lee Curtis's final time as Laurie Strode. Myself and Rob join you straight from the cinema to discuss our thoughts on this divisive installment. The first 30 minutes will be spoiler free before we delve into the messy stuff.
In an exciting twist we are also joined by a fellow horror lover in special guest; Josh (@disccountjosh) from Disc Count: A videogame podcast (@disccountpod on twitter and Instagram). Go and check them out on all major podcast platforms and on Youtube with their return episode this week focusing on Survival horror games including discussion of John Carpenter Favourite Dead Space.
So don't fear these reapers as we dig deep into the final rampage of Michael Myers (?) or learn how to heal a town, or learn to except people for who they are, to be honest this time we're not quite sure what we're digging into but apparently Evil is in the eye of the beholder.
