In this weeks episode of Cast Me To Hell, Robbie takes a time travelling trip to the 80s and the Golden Age of Slasher Films, as Robbie chats about some of the films he thinks are underrated slashers.
Swap your hockey masks and machetes for some pickaxes, graveyard ghouls and even some a visit to your local friendly grocery store, but don't worry, these films are still full of gory goodness and enough dismembered body parts to build your very own Frankenstein (or is it Frankenstein's monster?)

Episode 76 -Halloween (1978) - Copycat Horror Movies
Monday Dec 05, 2022
Monday Dec 05, 2022
In this week's episode a new feature is introduced in Copycat horror and we do a first for the podcast as we're going at it solo with just Seb this week. In this only occasional occurrence Seb brings you his Copycat horror for 1978's Halloween.
Copycat horror's are horror films that spawned other horror movies that are basically copies of the originals ideas or are eerily familiar to all of us horror fans. Some of these horrors stand on their own or are enjoyable horrors in their own right but cant totally escape the original shadow. Seb will discuss several films that he believes are copycat's of John Carpenters Halloween, pointing out similar scenes, themes and concepts.
So join one half of Cast Me To Hell for one week only as he finds all of the copycats in the horror pantheons mitts and reveals them for the naughty movies that they are.
Find Cast Me To Hell on Twitter, Instagram and TikTok @cmthpodcast and tell us your thoughts on Halloween's many horror copycats.
