Monday Jul 10, 2023
Monday Jul 10, 2023
This week we return to our Must See Horror feature and decide the fate of Fright Night, will it be deserving of a place on the Top 100 Horrors of all time or does it deserve a stake through the heart?
We discuss the cult status of the film, the sexual man that is Jerry Dandridge and comparisons with a certain other cult 80's vampire teen horror. We also talk about how the film can be perceived by different viewers with Rob a long time fan of the film and Seb a first time viewer.
So grab your stakes and crosses, find yourself a local tv celebrity, watch out for your very special, annoying friend and don't invite any sexual men into your house or you'll be in for a proper Fright Night.

Episode 96 - Overrated Horrors - Horror Hot Takes
Monday Jun 19, 2023
Monday Jun 19, 2023
This week we return to the controversial Horror Hot Takes feature just to annoy you all. Last time we covered Horror Hot Takes we talked about our general Hot Take on things we like or dislike about horror. This time we look at the Overrated Horrors we think exist and are over hyped, get too much love or are just generally bad films.
We each have come with 3 choices of horror films we personally feel are not as amazing as some will have you believe. These are our personal opinion and feel free to get in touch to tell us if you think we are wrong, that's your opinion. We explain our reasoning for why we believe some horrors gain attention for the wrong reasons, why sometimes the marketing is better than the product, why maybe great horror to some newer horror fans is not the same as great horror to life long fans.
So feel free to come at us, get ready for some offensive, maybe even to lose some respect as we delve into Seb and Robbies Hot Takes on our most overrated horror films.
Come share your views on the hot takes @cmthpodcast on Twitter and Instagram.

Episode 91 - The Birds (1962) - Must See Horror
Monday May 15, 2023
Monday May 15, 2023
In another installment of Must See Horror we delve into a Hitchcockian classic in The Birds. We discuss the films history, special effects and whether we believe it still lives up to the hype.
Being a Must See Horror we decide if a Hitchcock film should automatically gain access or is this one pale in comparison to some of his other horror / thrillers?
Robbie also talks about flying above his worries that this is just some shitty film about killer birds.
So watch the skies, beware childrens' climbing frames and if your a blonde specifically look out for classically trained directors with a fetish.

Episode 90 - Death Race 2000 (1975) - Must See Horror
Monday May 01, 2023
Monday May 01, 2023
This week we return with another Must See Horror, going on a journey with Roger Corman produced Death Race 2000 (1975).
We discuss our main question - Is this a horror film? Should it even be on a Top 100 Must See Horror list? Considering the political satire of this Sci-fi action with a side of gore does it represent what we consider to make a horror film.
We also discuss the crazy concepts, Sylvester Stallone's scenery chewing alongside David Carradine's status as an action hero and cybernetic love machine, who loves dressing like a gimp.
So if you want to hear about Possible horrors, Frankensteins, Car Races, Gimps, Nazi's, abuse, rebellion and Naked Spa breaks, you will enjoy our episode on Death Race 2000.
