Released in 2015, The Final Girls features a well known cast of young actors and aims to riff on the classic camp slasher as well as try and tell a heartfelt story about grief and letting go.
But does the film deserve its cult status? Is this a perfect pairing of horror and comedy, or does it suffer from some uneven balance from trying to please fans of both?

Proving that you should always be careful what you wish for, Obsession follows a lovesick man who makes a last ditch wish that throws his love life on its head. It's a bit of a slow burn that's as humorous as it is creepy, and balances some interesting themes of codependency with some gory good times.
